City Style | Rainboots
We had a freak snow storm here in NY on Saturday that had everyone thrown off course. It isn't even November! It is my first urban winter and I realized vert quickly while walking through the blustering cold to my subway yesterday afternoon that my whole winter wardrobe is going to need a revamp starting from the ground up. That means, of course, getting an adorable pair of rainboots. A festive pair of Wellingtons is something I've always coveted. What's better than some puddle stompin' in bright boots on a dreary day? Despite my love for them, I always flirt with them but never take them home. This needs to change ASAP. Here are a few favorites, all fun, functional, and budget friendly.

What Did We Do Before the Internet?
We made do.
I've been poring over self-publishing guides, lists and how-tos for this cookbook project, but nothing is leading me to what I pictured when I began. Everything is too cutesy, too meticulous or too weighed down with a price tag. So, to this I say:
Screw the internet.
I have a brain and two hands and a hell of a lot of craft supplies(and baking to do)... see you on the other side!
